About Us

We believe that nutrition should feel like a natural part of lifeβ€”not a stressor, not a set of rules. Just practical, personalised support that helps women feel stronger, clearer, and more in control as they move through life.

We’re here to change the way women think about health and ageingβ€”because growing older shouldn’t mean growing out of energy, confidence, or self-trust. Every woman’s body, lifestyle, and health needs are different. That’s why personalisation matters. It’s how we make nutrition meaningful, effective, and truly sustainable.

We believe choosing real food should feel easy. Health doesn’t have to be complicatedβ€”it just has to be consistent. We focus on small, doable habits that create lasting change, using food as fuel, as prevention, and as a way to reconnect with your body and what it needs.

We focus on women because women lead healthβ€”whether it’s feeding a family, influencing the kitchen, or holding the invisible mental load of wellbeing. When women feel empowered in their own health, the ripple effect reaches everyone around them.

Our values guide everything we do. We believe in making health feel simple. In building routines that last. In evidence-based strategies that work in real lifeβ€”not just in theory. And most of all, we believe in women. Their capacity for change. Their right to understand what’s happening in their bodies. And their power to take control of it.

This is more than nutrition. It’s about rewriting the story of ageingβ€”one confident, supported decision at a time.

Our Vision

To empower women to take charge of their health through everyday choices that support long-term well-beingβ€”redefining their experience of ageing.

Our Mission

We help women rewrite the story of ageingβ€”by rethinking how food and daily choices can support them through hormonal changes and beyond. We guide women to see nutrition as a foundation for strength, prevention, and lasting well-being. Through personalised strategies, habit change, and evidence-based education, we empower women to feel confident, supported and in controlβ€”to make the healthy choice the first choice.

Our Purpose

To redefine how women view nutritionβ€”as essential, empowering, and lifelong. Just like regular check-ups with a dentist or hairdresser, we believe personalised nutrition care should be a routine part of every woman’s well-being. We help women build habits that support energy, confidence, and balance at every stage of life.

Hi, I’m Lena, founder of Tailored Dietetics, and I’m here to make Healthy Ageing & Hormonal Health feel easier and more achievable.

My story is about resilience, growth, adventure, and a lifelong passion for empowering others to thrive. From running my own real estate company to embarking on a health-focused career in dietetics, I’ve always been driven by the belief that "Determination Creates the Difference."

As a young, spirited, and adventure-loving woman, I knew I wanted to own my own business. That go-getting spark led me to pursue a career in real estate, and by my late 20s, I had achieved that goal. I spent 15 years in the industry, including seven years running my own successful real estate business.

While real estate was fast-paced and rewarding, by the end of 2018, I realised it was time to pursue something closer to my heart. I sold the business and took a career break with my partner Ben to travel around Australiaβ€”a transformative experience that allowed me to reconnect with myself, discover new passions, and embrace the freedom of exploration. From mountain biking rugged trails to reflecting under starry skies, those two years of travel reshaped my perspective and gave me the clarity I needed to define my purpose.

Around the same time, I also found myself on a personal health journey. It started with mild symptomsβ€”some indigestion and bloatingβ€”but soon led to constant fatigue, weight gain and even itchy eyes to name a few. Seeking answers, I saw a dietitian who discovered I was low in iron, and B12, and was reacting to anything containing gluten. Over the years following, to find answers, I’ve undergone a range of tests and biopsies, though not officially diagnosed with Coeliac disease, as I was unable to undergo the gluten challenge, I was told it’s probably a bit of IBS… I now maintain a gluten-free diet except for the occasional intake of sourdough bread. This journey for me has been one of confusion and enlightenment, but more than that, it sparked a deep interest in understanding the body, nutrition and adopting an eating pattern that works best for me. Even now, I continue learning and adapting to what my body needs as I ageβ€”something I now help others do, too.

Following the spark - In 2020, I leapt into dietetics - Now a Qualified Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Dietetics (Honours) from the University of the Sunshine Coast, with a keen interest in preventive health, gut health, and healthy ageing. Inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle, I believe in a balanced approach to healthβ€”one that supports longevity, vitality, and the joy of good food while making space for adventure and a fulfilling life.

A huge part of my journey has been my incredible partner, Ben, who’s been my unwavering rock through it all.

Since we met at the end of 2015, we’ve shared a high-paced, adventure-filled romance that’s been nothing short of a fairytale. Through all these years and adventures, Ben has supported me without question as I’ve pursued my passions. Always encouraging me to dream big and take bold steps. Life with him is never boringβ€”he’s the fuel that keeps me going and inspires me to do wild, extraordinary things.

Health, personal development, and entrepreneurship have always been at the core of my life. Along the way, I’ve completed certifications in fitness, studied NLP, and explored metaphysical life coaching. These experiences have shaped the holistic approach I now take in helping others live their best lives.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me indulging in my hobbies: enduro motorbike riding with Ben (a passion that’s evolved over 10 years of riding road, track, and adventure bikes), organising spaces (aka cleaning up the house), or soaking up the love of our two loyal border collies, Thor and Loki.

These brothers aren’t just part of the familyβ€”they’re a vital part of our team, always on hand to provide support with their playful energy and affectionate nature.

At Tailored Dietetics, I draw on my life experience, drive, and expertise as an Accredited Practising Dietitian to guide others in taking control of their health. Using evidence-based strategies, I create personalised, actionable plans to help clients build confidence, embrace small steps, and make lasting changes for Healthy Ageing.

Stay vibrant, stay healthy!! Lena
